Catering (2001-03)
In New York, I worked in catering for several years, had a small camera in my tuxedo jacket and run off during the parties to empty corners, hidden closets, storage rooms, the presidents office, taking these self portraits of the artist as a young cater waiter. I noticed later all the images never had any people in them, mostly empty spaces before the party starts and me in hidden areas.
