I was invited to think of a project for the Auckland Triennial and I thought I will start from Varanasi in India the city that had inspired my first journey/art project from Athens to Varanasi. This time I was going to start my journey from India and move through SE Asia to Auckland, I would start four months before the opening and slowly make my way to Auckland and arrive just before the opening, all the works I was making I would be sending through the post office and they would install them just as they received them, and I would continue to work when in NZ for another month and add to the material installed.
