Varanasi, the holy city of Shiva in India, and specifically my baths and swimming in the Ganges, was the inspiration for the long journeys/art projects that I started in 2005. So in 2009 I went back to Varanasi for a whole year. Four collectors participated this time and received daily the works I was making there, two of them as well as several friends visited me in Varanasi, and their visits became part of the project itself.
